Hello guys, it's been a while since I posted for this challenge. I'm glad that I made one two weeks ago because Iam sick now xd. For this challenge I decided to draw Nomos from the rebellion pack. I hope you guys like it.
Nomos
The Process
I was scrolling through Pinterest last week and kinda stumbled upon this image. It kinda reminded me of Nomos so I decided to use it as pose reference. After drawing the base lineart all I needed to do was to remove his old clothing and add Nomo's clothes. It was done pretty fast but those hand pose gave me some trouble. It was the hardest part for me. Good thing I'm using my tab to draw rough sketch these days otherwise it would have been very difficult to get it right haha.
Once I was done with that I proceeded to render after adding base shadow and highlight colours. I couldn't add his staff here so I decided to use it as a light source instead plus it will really go well with the hand pose. I painted the skin and cloth layer as per position of the light source. After that I decided to add some lighting as well and applied a zooming blur on it. Finished the painting by adding radial line at 30% opacity with gaussian blur. That's about it guys. I hope you enjoyed the process.
