Hello friends in the Alien Art Hive community! 👽👾🛸

Let me introduce myself; I am Khazon. I am an illustrator and a photography enthusiast.

In this 26th post, I would like to share another digital character drawing—this time, one modeled after a praying mantis.

As always, I created this digital artwork using the ibisPaint X app with the following tools:

  1. Canvas: 3:4 ratio (2K) [1536 x 2048]

  2. Brushes: Soft Dip Pen and Paint Bucket for quick coloring. For color gradients, I used the standard Airbrush tool.

  3. Color Palette: Blue, black, red, purple, gray, and others.

Image Description

This digital drawing is purely a product of my imagination. Regarding its physical form, I focused on the anatomy of a praying mantis—evident in the shape of its head, arms, and legs—but I added a pair of swords mounted on its back.

In my imagination, this character is an assassin and a hunter who travels from planet to planet to conquer them.

For the background, I chose a desert setting featuring parched, dry sand and rocky terrain set against a dark blue-black sky.

Thank you for reading; I hope you enjoy the artwork. I welcome any suggestions or constructive criticism.
