Hello, fellow insect enthusiasts!
Today, I’d like to share another story—one that, naturally, relates to the world of insects.
Earlier this afternoon, while walking home from school—the distance is quite short, so I prefer to walk—I happened to pass by a local resident’s spinach garden. That’s when I spotted this unique beetle.
To be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever encountered a beetle quite like this. I call it unique because of its distinctive coloration: a blend of yellow and black.
According to information I found online, this is a type of longhorn beetle. In reality, it measures only about one to two centimeters in length.
A farmer working in the spinach garden mentioned that most longhorn beetles are harmless to humans—they are neither venomous nor aggressive—though the larvae of certain species can become pests to trees or timber.
If any of you happen to know more about the name and type of this insect, I would very much appreciate it if you could leave a comment.
Thank you for stopping by! See you next time with another new discovery.
