We packed up our bags and walked down the shore, there was a large downed tree in the path that we had to get through. Looks like its been there for awhile and just the core of the tree now stands.
The shores had many interesting trees, with their roots exposed due to the water level changing Im guessing. There were shells on the beach that we checked out, birds got to most of them first.
We came across an old boat ramp and a small area in the woods where people could park. Though we were not sure how cars or trucks would get this far into the woods. Maybe a road near by we were not aware of.
Walking the shores was alot of fun, the smell of the lake along with the birds flying over head looking for fish had a special feeling to it. But next time im bringing boots for the mud, down by the waters edge it gets pretty muddy pretty quick.
