We start off playing the Pagoda Peak map where you climb to the top of the one track mountain road and collect stars and coins along the way. Enjoying this game on the GameCube emulator called Dolphin, it runs on my PC and allows me to play old Nintendo games from the GameCube console. It may be many years old, but still many of the games are goodies.
There are many mini games to play, most are co-op but a few make a single player go against one of the single CPUs.
We start off selecting the players.. I play as Boo and @lovely.logic plays as Yoshi. We select two CPUs to play against as well.
Once selected we head off into the rainbow to begin the game.
We meet with the game master and roll our dice to figure out the starter players.
Moving into a mini games this one is all about snowboarding. Its a lot of fun with the amount of different games you can play in Mario Party.
Another mini game requires us to hit a cube above and gain as many coins as possible in a set round.
There are shortcuts in this map, where you just across towering bamboo that goes over a valley.
One of those mini games where I practiced alot, but in the end I lost the real game.
Running through a haunted house we need to find the exit, easy to get lost though.
Running into bowser can really throw some chaos into the game, a mini game is needed to win not to lose your stars or coins.
This mini game was like a slot machine where we had to line up the key to win.
Practicing games is the way to go, we rarely play a mini game without practicing first. Even if we played it before.
Shooting Piranha plants was the next mini game, it went pretty easy.
Another bowser mini game where we had to find keys in each treasure chest then unlock the next.
Wow surprised to see all new games.. question marks means we have not played the minigame yet. Mario Party saves after each play through and remembers the minigames you played.
Well we lost, the bots won.. Set to normal was just too much for us and we got 2nd.
