Lovely.logic and myself are playing some more of this classic party game. We are on an island this time and Donkey Kong causes some chaos in the game. When you think Bowser is enough trouble DK can throw a wrench in your plans real quick. I am using the Dolphin emulator to play this game, it is upscaled to 1080P and runs at 60FPS.

Playing with a friend is great, its something that me and my significant other enjoy doing. We also play Mario Kart, though that can be be more of a challenge for her. So we tend to play alot of Mario Party, but we like to switch it up. Co-op games is always something we want to try out, never know when we find the next good one for us to play.

We each seem to succeed at different mini games. And its funny to see how I am really good at one but shes not, and then the other way around where she completes a mini game way better than me.

After rolling out dice for who starts, mario rolls a 1.. lol! that easy cpu setting shows sometimes.

One of the mini game challenges we get to pick it.. Pretty cool as normally it selects it automatically.

In this one we have to hammer stamps on a conveyor belt.

Another one we build a robot, that one was pretty fun.

Rolling a 14 with two dice blocks I move pretty far along.

DK comes up if we switch the boats, before reaching him we land on a spot where we can change which boat will show up. Bowser or DK.

The easy AI won a mini game, surprising but it does happen.

Some of the games are all about button mashing, but this one depending who you play as have to do a combination. Doing this in practice we decided I would be better off playing the multiple button combo and she would do the button mashing A machine. Glad we can trade controllers depending on who is going to better at which one.

A space minigame is up next, where we have to dodge giant space rocks with our ship. By switching lanes we can avoid them.

There are shortcuts in the game, and by paying a fare you can use them. This one sends us down a raft for 10 coins.

Finishing up the game we see how many stars each of us collected. You can get bonus stars for the most mini games won, the most balls thrown and the most space traveled.

Woo we won!! Another fun game together. I am giving lovely.logic@lovely.logic half of the rewards for this post. Being a co-op gaming video wanted her to get some of the rewards as well.
