Gran Turismo 5 gameplay 04-26

Finishing up a few races with my classic japanese evo rally car. Used it in some classic japanese make races. Though later on I switch to a new car, an ARTA garaiya. I also do some racing in one of my reward cars, I enter it in a lightweight race though I find out its quite under powered even when compared to my competitors. I will upgrade it and bring it up to spec to win a race.

Driving many kinds of cars, from the super nimble with the garaiya. To the classic lancer evolution, one of the first back in the day. And rounding it all out with a car that probably be picked up by two people.

The lancer is nimble, but with its n/a motor it really needed some more power to put up any competition with the vintage super cars.

I catch up to second place and wait for an opening to out brake them. They have more straight line speed but my handling and braking is a lot better.

Seems like the pack has broken up into two sections, a couple way behind and a few all close together fighting for the lead.

Laguna seca was a track I had to battle the cars on the up hill parts. I would pass them in the twisties but when it came to the uphill straight aways they were quite close to me.

Switching to my lightweight car I give it a few upgrades after realizing it would not keep up otherwise.

Finally that got me what I needed to stay in the lead, though the transmission could be upgraded to make it a lot better.

To do some cups with race cars I needed one too, all my cars were rally up to this point and the normal street cars. I thought the garaiya would be a good choice.

Did not realize it had a stop speed of only 167 mph and I could not upgrade it. Those race cars on the straight away powered right past me as I ran out of gearing.

I tried my best with this car, but unless its all low speed tracks it had trouble with these high end race cars.
