¿Alguna vez has considerado que no tienes talento?

Can I ask you a question…?
Before, I would like you to describe yourself as a person. Surely you will find something special within you, something unique, something that no one can match. If you still do not see it then you must dig deeper, or maybe, just maybe, put aside the prejudice towards your own being; I mean that you stop considering yourself a useless person, because in this world we are all good for something. Would you be surprised if I told you that talents don't have labels? That's how it is! Even smiling can be considered a magnificent art.
So, since you analyzed yourself as a person, my question to you is… What is your best quality? Mine, for example, is to make others smile, perhaps with very bad jokes, but the effect of laughter is undoubtedly restorative. Why? because in some way or another it helps to forget the bad times, the stormy moments, the days of tears. Okay, if we minimize terms, I could consider myself a defender of empathy, generosity, humility... qualities that, although it is difficult to believe, also make us talented people.
And it is at this point where I say: what is a talent? Ok, I will speak from my own perception and experience, making a point and apart from the theoretical sections. Well, I believe that talents are not limited only to art in all its expressions: singing, dancing, writing... there is something else, something that no one has said: the value of existence is balance, right? If you look at the infinite cosmos, you will notice that countless stars shine in it. So each of those stars has its place in space, if not purpose. If we associate the universe with humanity, and each person with a star, then that means that all of us have a place to shine.

And what do I mean by all this?
From the moment a baby arrives on earth, an abysmal race begins for that boy or girl to be, in one way or another, someone as talented as the people who appear on television: musicians, writers, singers, athletes... etc. etc etc. Now, to conjugate the idea, I must tell you that "fame" is not equal to "talent", or "money" is not equal to "happiness", and why do I say it? Basically because the mistake is made of saying that if a boy or girl is not suitable for the talents that appear on television, then they are already useless, they will not achieve a wonderful future, or their chances will be less than they have, for example, those who master better "skills".
If you are a father or mother, you must understand that labeled talents do not interfere, in one way or another, in a person's future. That is, even if your children can't sing, or dance, or draw, they have infinite possibilities for a happy, wonderful life, even more wonderful than those who claim to have awesome abilities. Now, sinking much more to the point I want to get to, I must ask you a second question:
Have you ever considered that you have no talent?
If we look at the world and the quirky lives of those who are famous, you may have come to the conclusion that your life has been a resounding failure; without yachts, without mansions, without traveling around the world, without leaving a mark in the history books... at some point we dreamers think like this, or worse: we deny our being because "it does not meet the world's expectations", right? I said talents don't have labels?
Still, I must tell you that comparisons only pave the way for disappointment. If I have learned anything in my 24 years of life, it is that no one has to be the same as anyone else, no one is better than anyone else... each of us has a place to shine. That site is already there, the difficult thing is to recognize that it exists, that it is tangible and true. If you start looking for it bordering on the labels of the world, you will never find it. But if instead you revolve around yourself, to that place that you say is useless, you will be surprised at what you can achieve with what you consider habitual, boring, or perhaps insignificant.

Is there a secret to find that place in an easier way? Let's be honest, nothing is easy in this expanding universe, but I will give you a tool that has served me particularly well: never stop loving yourself. Because yes, my dear dreamers, only love leads us to shine inexhaustibly. The talent rests in you even if it seems invisible, and, without wanting to be exaggerated, it can far exceed those who claim to be conventionally talented.
Sometimes saying you have no talent is just an excuse not to dare to shine. A "I'm good for nothing" or "I'm very bad at everything" only corners you to the eternal rainy days, those in which life becomes a complete torment. Forget about labels, and embrace that wonderful being you have inside. Invite him to a coffee, and value every quality that makes him part of you.
Appreciate! Isn't that a nice word? Everyone out there has personal goals, and maybe some of you have extra batteries to reach them faster, but that doesn't mean you can't do it. Stephen Hawking once said:
What I learned in life is that you should make the most of what you have. Stephen Hawking .
We have enough qualities to make a mark on the world. Remember: We are all stars… we all have a place to shine…
