Mauritius has been one of the most beautiful places where I have ever been! When I first saw pictures from this Island online, I was totally shocked by the beauty of this country.
Mauritius (English: maʊ̯riːtsi̯ʊs), English Maurice [moʀiːs], Creole Moris) is an island nation in the southwest of the Indian Ocean about 870 kilometers east of Madagascar. In addition to the main island of Mauritius with its capital Port Louis, Rodrigues, the Cargados Carajos Islands and the Agalega Islands are part of the national territory.
I have been to many places in my life but Mauritius has become one of my favorite locations ever! When I was a child I used to go on holidays for at least two times a year which means I was able to explore almost every country in Europe. France, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Spain and so on... After I turned 14 years old, my parents and I flew to America which then became my favorite place at this time. New York, L.A., Las Vegas, Miami. All these cities were just incredible and I really wanted to move there. Then I luckily got the chance to travel to Asia and everything changed. I was fascinated by the nature, people, food, activities, vibes and definitely by great architectures. Thailand was and still is on my wish list!
Now we got to visit the wonderful Island called Mauritius. Before I am going to tell you if it´s on my wish list, I want to tell you a little bit about this place...
FOOD
The mauritian people know how to cook. Here are a lot of Indian restaurants but the local restaurants have a variety of several other dishes.

I havent showed you the nature part of Mauritius but the sunset is for sure very magical!
Nature
I got surprised by mothers nature. So many lovely locations and many palm trees (Plants in general) The ocean water is crystal clear, very salty and warmed up every day because of the sun...

All aspects from above make this Island to one my top three places on the globe. I wish I could share more live moments with you so you can understand what this places makes so special...
Anyway, we are leaving in a few days but this wasn´t my last visit. I hopefully will come back next year and you should take a look at this country too!
