The graphics, game design, game mechanics, the whole idea..
.. all about steemmonsters is absolutely great...

there is just one flaw I see:

The cryptoeconomics.

People need an incentive to buy now, buy in 6 month, buy in a year, compared to later points of time.
Yes its true that steemians rushed to get their hands on cards first, yes its likely that there will be an hype once the tournament goes live..
but here are many who bought the cards also with speculative motivation (Haejin? ;-) ) and at the end... I mean why are we all on steemit and not somewhere else .. its a total capitalistic system.

So my deep believe is, that you need to implement some kind of price increase...
may it be to make packs 10 cents more expensive each month or to slightly deflate the value of the content by establishing a fixed and decreasing pool of valuable cards that will be included in the packs each day or week ...
at the end it has to be clear that buying packs now gives an economic advantage to buying in 6 month..

my rule of thumb would be to increase prices by 50% annually or decrease value by 33% annually.. this should do the job..

on the other hand in regards to game mechanics... do I get it right that there is now one superior card everybody should have and this is selenia sky? .. a pretty high dissbalance showing up already?
You should really think this through NOW.. other wise people will rush to buy her at high prices but there wont't be enough for all of us...
...so finally to make the game playable you have to come up with another solution diluting her value and you will make a lot of people unhappy...
