Behind the beach 🌴🌊 Detrás de la playa [ENG-ESP]

There are very beautiful urban beaches, but if I have to choose, I prefer those that are little, almost nothing or not at all intervened by humans.

Hay playas urbanas muy bonitas, pero si tengo que elegir, prefiero las que están poco, casi nada o nada intervenidas por el ser humano.

But this is not the case of the one I show you in this post, however, although this beach has a couple of buildings a few meters from the shore, most of it remains quite natural.

Pero no es el caso de la que les muestro en esta publicación, sin embargo, aunque esta playa tiene un par de edificios a unos metros de la orilla, la mayor parte de ella se mantiene bastante al natural.

With bare feet, let's go for a walk then, to see what's behind this beach, Cata bay, in Aragua (Venezuela).

Con los pies descalzos, vamos a dar una vuelta entonces, para ver qué hay detrás de esta playa, la bahía de Cata, en Aragua (Venezuela).

By the towers, on the left side of this beach, is where most of the constructions are located, which have to do with the services offered to visitors, such as food stalls, small stores, restrooms, showers and the pier. These cute cats were in one of the restaurants, they look well fed.

Por las torres, en el lado izquierdo de esta playa, es donde se encuentran la mayor parte de las construcciones, que tienen que ver con los servicios que se ofrecen a los visitantes, como puestos de comida, pequeñas tiendas, baños, duchas y el embarcadero. Estos lindos gatos estaban en uno de los restaurantes, se ven bien alimentados.

And this gang was a little further along, strolling along, greeting tourists.

Y esta pandilla estaba un poco más allá, de paseo, saludando a los turistas.

Most people are concentrated in this part of the beach, where the atmosphere is livelier and also noisier. I stood there at one point and you could hardly see the sea, all the umbrellas were occupied.

La mayoría de la gente se concentra en esta parte de la playa, donde el ambiente es más animado y también más ruidoso. Me paré allí en un punto y apenas se veía el mar, todas las sombrillas estaban ocupadas.

The same thing happened with the motorcycle parking area, there was no room for one more there. Because of its affordable cost, it is currently the most popular vehicle in Venezuela.

Lo mismo pasaba con el área de estacionamiento de motos, no cabía una más allí. Por su costo accesible, es actualmente el vehículo más popular en Venezuela.

Leaving this part behind and walking to the right side of the beach, the landscape is less intervened and the atmosphere is calmer. There is more vegetation and the occasional kiosk, mostly made of natural materials.

Al dejar atrás esta parte y caminar hacia el lado derecho de la playa, el paisaje está menos intervenido y el ambiente es más tranquilo. Hay más vegetación y uno que otro quiosco, en su mayoría hechos con materiales naturales.

In this tropical environment, where the sun and saltpeter hit hard, I think bamboo and palm leaves are the best option to raise these structures, they look great and are resources that are there and if damaged can be replaced quickly and without spending money.

En este ambiente tropical, donde el sol y el salitre pegan fuerte, creo que el bambú y las hojas de palma son la mejor opción para levantar estas estructuras, se ven muy bien y son recursos que están ahí y que si se dañan pueden ser reemplazados rápidamente y sin gastar dinero.

Let's continue to see what is behind this beach, just where its extension ends, the mouth of the river appears, surrounded by mountains, dense vegetation and super cool water if you want to get rid of the salt from your body.

Sigamos viendo qué hay detrás de esta playa, justo donde termina su extensión, aparece la desembocadura del río, rodeada de montañas, densa vegetación y una agua súper fresca si te provoca sacarte la sal del cuerpo.
