Dream Vacation Part 3

Fisher waddled up to the three sleeping women in the sand, hoping his task set to him by the mighty hippocampus called Igkniter would not be too difficult to carry out.

The problems facing his friends on the carousel were massive. How they thought one tiny skunk could help them, Fisher had no idea, but he had made a promise to try and help his friends, so here he was on an island in a computer game, feeling time slip away.

Very tired of watching the women sleep, Fisher waddled up to the white-haired woman and touched his nose to hers to give her a good whiff. You can tell a lot about people by how they smell. Unfortunately for Fisher, what he was sniffing was a Sim.

Tilting his head left and right, Fisher took a deep breath and licked the nose of the white-haired woman. He had some white hair, so she couldn't be all bad, he hoped. He leaned in to lick her nose once again. This time her nose twitched. Fisher became so excited he jumped up on her chest and kept licking her nose.

Snook slowly came too. With her eyes closed, the events of the last hours came rushing back. Did she dare open her eyes to see where she landed after the world went dark? Why was her nose wet? Where had the cat noise come from? Snook had made sure she had disabled all her Sims 4 packs the other women didn't have. There should not have any animals in her game!

Snook's eyes flew open, and she found herself eye to eye with a tiny skunk. Lucky for Snook, Fisher had his little front paws on her mouth so she could not scream and scare the small skunk.

The second Fisher saw Snook's eyes open, he started talking excitedly.

"They need help! They all need your help! You have to come and DO something! Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!"

Snook wanted to laugh because his whole body jumped up and down on her face each time Fisher talked. He was the cutest little aminal she had ever seen. He was also a walking stink bomb, which should never be forgotten if she didn't want a bath in tomatoes.

Snook whispered to Fisher that she first needed to check on her friends @Brisby and @Saffisara to ensure they were alive. Snook might have mumbled about the tiny disadvantage of maybe being stuck in the Sims 4 game forever too.

Fisher slowly calmed down. Jumping off of Snook's face, he turned to the other two women lying on the ground. Looking Snook in the eye very seriously, he asked if he should lick their noses too. Holding back a laugh, Snook said she figured she would just give them a tiny shake and call their names to wake the other two women up. Fisher looked a tad disappointed, but he shook his little head in agreement.

Snook walked over to her two friends and kneeled down into the sand. Gently touching both their arms, she said their names very quietly. She waited patiently and then did it again, and finally, on the third try, Brisby and Saffisara's eyes started to flutter and open.

Both women sat up slowly while looking at Snook and asking what had happened.

"We have some problems and not just how we get out of this game," said Snook while glancing behind her at Fisher. Snook then looked at both of her friends and told them to make sure they didn't make any loud noises.

Both women looked at Snook with questions and their eyes. Snook asked Brisby if she had mentioned to Saffisara about the day they had spent at the carousel. Brisby said no, she had not.

It seems we have a visitor in the Sims 4 who came just as we were about to leave, Snook explained. Do you remember Fisher, the baby skunk?

Brisby shook her head yes.

Well, he's here, and he needs our help, so don't make any loud noises, or we're all going to be taking a bath in tomato juice, explained Snook with a smile.

Turning around, Snook whispered quietly to Fisher that they could help, but she needed him to tell the whole story. There was nothing they could help with if they didn't know everything they would be dealing with.

Fisher started his tale. Saffisara could see how nervous he was and grabbed him up into her lap while she gently petted him as he spoke. Visibly much calmer Fisher told his tale.

A few days after you two young ladies left with your smiles and laughter, a new manager had taken over the carousel. The words budget cuts and layoffs could be heard day and night. With no one going out anymore, the carousel wasn't making enough money to pay the bills to run it.

The new manager found out the place was over one million dollars in debt. The animals overheard the place closing, but then talking of selling each animal to a different person started coming up.

All of the carousel animals have been together for their whole lives. They were more than brothers and sisters. They would all die without the others. Fisher explained he was the only one that was able to leave unnoticed to find help. He finished his story with the words They need you to survive.

With not a dry eye in sight, Snook stood up and started pacing. Brisby watched Snook, and Saffisara just kept hugging Fisher while telling him he would be just fine. How everyone would be just fine.

Snook turned around and looked at the Dream Machine. No lights were on. It was dead. They had to find a way to fix the machine......It should be possible, thought Snook. We are in a game, after all! A few more circles walked, and Snook stopped in front of Brisby and Saffisara.

"@GuiltyParties is in this game and in this world. He has level ten handiness skills. He should be able to fix the dream machine. We just have to figure out how to get him to visit this house."

"Too bad none of us are friends with him in this game, but we can become friends with him. It will take some time, though. Once the machine is fixed, we port over to the carousel and use the dream machine to move the animals to a safe place. That is all I can come up with. What do you guys think?" asked Snook.

Saffisara shook her head in agreement. Brisby started staring up into the sky. She then asked if someone was already friends with GuiltyParties in the game, how would you get him here faster?

Snook explained they would need to call him on their phone and invite him over. Once here, we would see next about figuring out how to get him to fix the machine.

Brisby smiled a huge smile, whipped out her phone, pressed a few buttons, and Proof! There stood GuiltyParties right in front of them.

"Yeah! Now we just have to figure out how to communicate with Guilty because I do not speak Simlish", said Snook.

"I understand every word you say, Snook," growled Guilty. "What I want to know is why I am in a Sims game and had to raise three toddlers? Tell me, please!"

Because it is now 5:18 AM and I have not slept yet, I am going to give you the short version.

Snook explained to Guilty that he ratted to @JackMiller on her, so making him raise three toddlers seemed fitting. She also pressed for an answer on how he, himself, ended up in her game. Guilty admitted he had also placed an order with Captain Hook and the Forty Thieves Trading Company for a Dream Machine because he wanted a vacation, but he only received four days of raising toddlers.

Snook chuckled and explained what happened to her Dream Machine. She asked him could he look at it and fix it because they had an old carousel to rescue!

Guilty took one look at Snook and asked her if she had tried turning the machine off and back on again?

At this, Snook stuck out her tongue and proceeded to do just that. Sure enough, her Dream Machine booted right up!

"Your next assignment is to have 4 people, spend 4000.00 dollars, and go on vacation for four days" came out of the Dream Machine as it was booting up.

Without even blinking, Snook made sure a part of her was touching everyone in the group. Her big toe pressed the lever of the dream machine while thinking about the Best Western Plus Prairie Inn Hotel.

Pooooof

Everyone turned to walk into the hotel while Saffisara hid Fisher under her shirt to not be noticed or scared. Snook ordered two suites and one plain room with connecting doors. She wanted to make sure Fisher had his own room, so no one scared him late at night while sleeping. Not that she snored or anything.

Exhaustion overcame Snook. She reached in her pocket and handed GuiltyParties 500.00, telling him to take everyone out to eat, drink, and go shopping for the night. She then promptly fell asleep on the bed. Brisby and Saffisara reached over to cover her up with a blanket, and all three left the room to go out and have some fun.

Twelve hours later, Snook rolled over and opened her eyes to three people plus one skunk staring at her. "What!" was the only word that came out of her mouth.

Brisby took over from there. She explained how Snook had talked up a storm in her sleep after they had come back from eating and buying a few new clean clothes.

How Snook had told them in detail to use the Dream Machine to make a miniature of the carousel so it would fit safely inside a sturdy box. How she wanted them to call @Enginewitty and tell him he was now the new owner and trusted with the care of the animals and carousel. How the four of us would be there today and would help him build and set up the new carousel house over the next few days. Last how he was now the proud Papa of a skunk named Fisher.

Brisby went on to explain that everything was done and ready to travel to Engine's house. They had just been waiting on her to wake up.

Pooooof

Snook shoved $3,200.72 into GuiltyParties hands and ran off with Brisby and Saffisara to smother EngineWitty with hugs. Guilty slowly backed away. As he did, he finally saw Fisher drop to the ground and run towards him, trying to get away from the women screaming and laughing and hugging.

The next three days were spent hiring local workers to help build a structure for the carousel. Everything worked according to plan. On the final night, everything was done. For the first time, the lights were flipped on, and all the animals gleamed, looking proud of their new home.

Everyone ran up to grab a seat on an animal while they waited with huge smiles on their faces for the ride to start.

Guilty looked at Snook. With a nod of her head, he flipped the switch. AC/AD Back in Black pumped out of the speakers for all to hear. The carousel animals were taken by surprise, and everyone started laughing and singing along to the music. No more Pipe organ music for a long, long time.

The End.

*Footnote 1~ A copy of the original carousel can be seen in Albany, Oregon. Just do not expect the animals to talk. They are now safely hidden to enjoy any music their heart desires.

**Footnote 2~ Hotel rooms were 92.00 each for one night plus 500.00 for clean clothes and food equals 800.00.
The rest of the $3,200.72 was spent on food for 3 days and material and labor to build the new magic Carousel home on Enginwitty's land.
