Yesterday afternoon we decided to go for a ride on a hill called Fort Klapperkop at the back of our house. It's a well-known spot for joggers and cyclers, and tourists like to stop at the look-out spots for a great view over the whole of Pretoria.
We spotted 3 zebras, and stopped to take some photos of them. We got out of our vehicle and walked towards them and managed to get quite close, they are seemingly tame as they must be used to people by now - us being there didn't bother them one bit. They are part of a bigger group, but yesterday we only saw these 3. One was a youngster, we guess about 10 months old. I love these animals, they are always so gentle and mild-mannered, and one of nature's wonders at camouflaging.
