But first — what is Snaps?
Snaps is a fairy recent new feature introduced by PeakD to allow users to post short-form content (up to 280 characters) — much like tweets, status updates, or microblogs — directly onto the Hive blockchain.
In other words, a Snap is a post 'on-the-go' — great for letting your followers know what you're up to, it can help build your audience, and of course, it pays too.
Up until now, Snaps was only accessible through the PeakD frontend on your browser (via desktop or a phone). Now, with Hive Snaps app you can post snaps directly on your iPhone or Android - much like with other social media apps such as X and Bluesky.
