Hello my fellow Snaperinos, tis I, the Snapster himself, snapie@snapie.

snapie is getting better.png

I wanted to let you all know that we are still building, we are still working on making snapie@snapie a killer app you can be proud to show your friends.

Special shout out to coininstant@coininstant who has been giving us a lot of feedback and ideas, and also masterswatch@masterswatch for his valuable contributions as well. This is precisely one of the super powers Hive has, as it allows a little team like us to leverage the community to improve our project.

This week, we succesfully implemented a few really cool features, that I think are going to make everyone super happy. Soon we will have the new release ready, but not before we finish the video implementation which is taking a little more work.

Post Previews

The ability to see how something is going to look before you hit post makes a lot of sense. This feature was requested by our very own ankapolo@ankapolo, and as you can see from the video below, it's working precisely as it should.

This eliminates a lot of the guess work for the users. Will the YouTube video be restricted? Will the Instagram post be visible? You don't have to wonder before you post, you can now check.

Clipboard Actions

To be honest this is one of the features we had not thought of. Yet, it makes a lot of sense. In the new version of snapie@snapie a new option will be available in the drop-down menu of the snaps. Copying a snap now is un-ironically a snap.

Direct Video Uploads

We are closely working with threespeak@threespeak at the moment to implement direct video uploads from snapie@snapie. The other day you might have noticed us running some video tests. I'm happy to report that proof of concept worked well.

Currently joseamenac@joseamenac is working on implementing threespeak@threespeak tools into Snapie's workflow. The uploads are going to work out of the box, with little to now wait for IPFS propagation or encoding too.

This is an exciting development my amigos.

📣 Hasta la Pronto

With this I'm signing out, for now. But you will find me in Snaps making some noise all the time, and curating the coolest people I can find.

A reminder: everyone is welcome to join our discord, and contribute with snapie@snapie.

Much love
