So guys I welcome you all specially to a blessed new week of creativities and explorations 馃槀 am so excited guys and expectant as well, am just here waiting to see what my follow needleworker have for us, speaking of what you came with 馃槀 it鈥檚 been a while guys I haven鈥檛 posted tho to some obstacles which I鈥檒l disclose to you all much soon.
So friends today am here to share with you all an outfit I made, it鈥檚 actually for a burial on Saturday, I just had to make it ahead of time, giving the fact that am always very busy with work this days like not my usual work something else which I said I鈥檒l let you guys know soon, I get so occupied with that work that I don鈥檛 even get a chance to do my own sewing work at home and that鈥檚 why have not been getting my own content to post to you guys so once again am sorry and I plead you all should please understand me, it鈥檚 not been easy but thank God I made it this week with a content.馃槒馃槖it鈥檚 actually an ankara top.
With different steps I鈥檒l be sharing how I achieved that design on the top so friends stay connected and focused to your favorite brand @smilestitches for an exciting adventure into the fashion world .馃槉馃槉
As usual friends, I lay the ankara fabric, bend it once, drew my client鈥檚 measurement on it and I cut out the front view. Obtaining the front I used it to achieve the rest part of the top, the both sleeves, back view, back facing too. With those my cutting was done and I moved to the sewing part.
I took the already cut out front to my iron bend and it into two, ironed the middle to get a straight line and that line is the center of the cloth and it will be a great help to me when designing the front so my work will be accurate and neat.
Now afar the ironing was done and the middle line was achieved too, I took the ankara fabric and I cut the soft paper gum, size of 1inches and length of 17inches and I used same measurement to cut the second one but this time the length was much shorter since it鈥檚 an inner one, I took the length 9inches and I gummed the big one on the plain fabric and the smaller one on the ankara fabric,
After that I bend them and I sewed it to the front gently,
while sewing the big one, I bend it in from the other side and I made a V shape at the ending part so I could achieve what I wanted.
After I had made the V shape downwards and I sewed it and bend it upwards to get the design I wanted, and I took the the plain fabric again and I made a little flap with V at the down part and I sewed it too to the down part of the first one to have the design boldly clear and well detailed. I actually made them like belts so after that I made a little belt holder and included it on the tip of the flap.
After the front was ready, I used that same plain fabric to cut and make an inner pocket at the side front and after that, I proceeded to used that same plain fabric to pipe the neck to fine the outfit a finished touch.馃槉
I trimmed the shoulder and included the both sleeves and joined the body to the measurement of my client and bend the length also and with those few steps my clients outfit was ready for him to pick.
@smilestitches wishing you all a great day ahead and I prosperous week too!!!
