The year is just starting, and I'll continue with these sessions that I enjoy so much. For today, I bring you a design that I took towards the concept of blur, featuring a demon crossing a "digital" and "cyberpunk" portal into the future. This effect is particularly noticeable in the horns, which I found appealing for achieving the desired effect. If you like the outcome, I cordially invite you to see the process. Let's continue.

Este año está comenzando y yo seguiré con estas sesiones que tanto disfruto. Para el día de hoy, les presento un diseño que llevé hacia el concepto del desenfoque, con un demonio atravesando un portal "digital" de estilo "cyberpunk" en un futuro. Este efecto se destaca especialmente en la parte de los cuernos, que me pareció atractiva para lograr el efecto deseado. Si les gusta el resultado, con toda cordialidad, los invito a ver el proceso. I started by generating the figure of a devil, making it easy to remove the background. Subsequently, I opted for a black-red gradient background. Then, I focused on finding a complementary effect. Using the pen tool, I began cutting sections of the horns and copying them. This choice was made to apply a blur to the rest of the body but not to the horns.
Comencé creando la figura de un diablo, lo que facilitó la eliminación del fondo. Posteriormente, opté por un fondo degradado en tonos negro y rojo. Luego, me concentré en buscar un efecto complementario. Utilizando la herramienta pluma, comencé a recortar secciones de los cuernos y a copiarlas. Esta decisión se tomó para aplicar un desenfoque al resto del cuerpo, pero no a los cuernos.
To add effects, I looked for a frame with flames to encircle the devil, and I used plastic textures for the "portal" layer. This helped provide perspective and allowed me to apply a blur to the entire set of effects at once.
Para agregar efectos, busqué un marco de llamas para enmarcar al diablo y utilicé texturas plásticas para la capa del "portal". Esto permitió darle perspectiva y aplicar desenfoque a todo el conjunto de efectos al mismo tiempo.
We applied the Gaussian blur effect, and as mentioned earlier, the horns would remain without blur. Once the foundational design was completed, we started detailing and filling in the areas. Let's continue...

I created some circles for the entry of the horns, with a futuristic style, and by giving them the necessary perspective, I managed to connect both horns to represent the beginning of the passage to the portal. I continued adding noise to the plastic and placed the text "ANALYSING". I chose a moderately futuristic texture to blend both concepts. Once positioned and achieving the perspective, I proceeded to fill in the final details.
Creé unos círculos para la entrada de los cuernos, con un estilo futurista, y al darles la perspectiva necesaria, logré conectar ambos cuernos para representar el inicio del paso al portal. Continué añadiendo ruido al plástico y ubiqué el texto "ANALYSING". Elegí una textura moderadamente futurista para fusionar ambos conceptos. Una vez ubicados y lograda la perspectiva, procedí a rellenar los últimos detalles.
To position the text, I chose a square and wide font, placing it behind the horns to achieve versatility in the design and create visually appealing penetrations. Once the title was in place, I proceeded to fill in a warning description for the future society.
Finishing up the design, I added a text strip with "DETECTED", copied and with a motion and Gaussian blur effect, to simulate that it pierces through the devil with this alert ribbon. Para ubicar el texto, elegí una fuente cuadrada y ancha, situándola detrás de los cuernos para lograr versatilidad en el diseño y generar atravesamientos visualmente atractivos. Una vez colocado el título, procedí a completar una descripción de alerta para la sociedad del futuro.
Finalizando el diseño, añadí una tira de texto con "DETECTED", copiada y con efecto de movimiento y difuminado, para simular que atraviesa al diablo con esta cinta de alerta. Realmente disfruté creando este diseño, ya que introduce algo nuevo en términos de práctica y visualización. El uso de las herramientas me permitió desplegar más creatividad.
