Today is “**BIRTHDAY**” to everybody, in chinese we call this day as “**人日(ren ri)**”. *人日* is the 7th day of chinese new year (正月), the 1st month in the tradisional Chinese calendar. *人日* was the day human beings were created.
In Chinese mythology, **女娲** (*mother goddess of Chinese mythology*) was the goddess who created the world. **女娲** created the animals on different days, and human beings on the seventh day after the creation of the world. And this is the reason the seventh day of Chinese New Year is viewed as the common "birthday" of all human.
