It is no surprise to anyone who wears the pants in this family. Me. These days I can even get them on myself... most of the time. I have to up my game though because in a few weeks I go off into a new class where I am the youngest and have to learn how to hold my own in the playground.
Mummy had a meeting with my new teachers on Monday and found out what kinds of activities they do with the kids. At the moment they are working on numbers and letters but where surprised that I already know mine which means they don't have to go back and teach me again. I think going up a grade (kinda) might be good for me because it means I have to push myself a bit harder than I was in a class of kids that can't speak or feed themselves.
There are definitely some things I need to work on though and I am looking forward to seeing what a new class with new friends will bring. I already know the kids in there because I spend time playing with them in the playground a bit already but, it will be fun to take part in their classes. I wonder if they know all of the songs I know or hopefully, they know some even better ones. I love learning new songs, I also love the old.
Mummy asked me yesterday what my favorite songs are at the moment because I have been singing a few Christmas ones but, Mr Sandman and Make you feel my love were the top of the pops. Daddy's bedtime songs for me. You'd think that after two years he would have improved his singing voice but, I think it might actually be getting worse. Or, I am getting a better ear for hearing just how out of tune he is.
Lately I have been working on a my Mary had a little lamb rendition and I am trying to get the high notes. It isn't easy but once I get it I will get Daddy to make a video for you guys so you can sing along. I understand the entire song but, what the hell is 'fleece'?? Daddy says it is the hair of a sheep but then why not just say "Its hair was white as snow"?
In the evenings I have to take two inhalers for my asthma but there has to be a bit of a break between so the first can start working before stacking the second, and I generally sing a song to pass the time. It is best not to waste time so I do recommend that when ever you have a little bit of a spare moment, you try singing too. Time wasted is time lost, as Daddy says. I say that, time singing is never a waste. I am hoping to speed up how fast I get my pants on so I have a few more seconds in the day for more important things like, jumping.
Do you waste a lot of time?
