Christmas is coming. Did you know? I have been opening advent calendars for over a week now and I have so many that it is almost a full time job just to get all those windows open. There are some pretty cool ones though and they are tailored for me. I have two that have little books inside of them, how cool is that? One is the Moomins which is kept at Mummi and Pappa's place and I get to open them when I am there and the other is Herra Hakkarainen, one of my favourites, as you might remember.
THere are some pretty weird advent calendars though. This year there was one that was 100 euros and had skin care products in it. Lots and lots of husbands Daddies bought it for the Mummies. My Daddy didn't, he is kind of the 'present Grinch' when it comes to holidays and birthdays. It is funny though because as much as he dislikes buying presents for events, he loves buying presents for no reason at all. Mummy gets a lot of presents.
Of course, she doesn't remember those ones when there is a crappy 'event present' given.
It is a bit of a pity that all of these events require so many presents though and, the presents are getting fancier and more useless as the years go on. Well, this is going to only be my third Christmas but, Daddy tells the "When I was a boy..." stories. I am glad I didn't grow up then by the sounds of it.
Ooh, today we did a photo shoot session and I got to jump around on Mummy and Daddy's bed. It was a lot of fun. We went shopping today and one of the things Daddy bought me was these Christmas dear horns. They are sparkly and they make me feel special. Sparkles make everyone feel special...
Anyway, I got to dress up in a a few of the outfits that @galenkp bought for me (they are sparkly too) and jump around while Daddy took photos. I learned that it is really, really hard to look at the camera when jumping around on a bed like a crazy. It was fun though and Mummy and Viski were watching and Mummy kept shouting "Not near the edge!!"
I am yet to actually bounce off but once it did come pretty close. Daddy is always there close by though, just in case. I am not sure if it is because he wants to save me, or save himself from Mummy's shouting. He would be in soooooo much trouble if I fell off.
Tomorrow is Daddy / Daughter day again which is awesome because he promised we can do some more jumping and just maybe we will go to the city again for coffee and cake. Some traditions are good to keep.
