Today it was up bright and early as the daylight saving times changed overnight so instead of getting up at 7, I got up at six. So much for an extra hour of sleep. It did mean that I got pretty tired pretty fast though and I had my nap at Mummi and Papp's place as we were there for lunch.
Look at me here, like a quiet little cherub. pffft.
Mummy is doing her school work again this weekend so it is Daddy and I spending the time together. This means that he doesn't have much time for anything else as we have soooo much playing to do. I think we are going to warm up the afternoon with a little milk and a good book and then dive into the Legos and perhaps the abacus.
Mummy rotated my toys yesterday. I don't have a massive amount of toys but I tend to play with some more than others so Mummy and Daddy put a few away and then bring them out and take others away every month or so. It is pretty cool because I rediscover toys that I love and yesterday it was the abacus. It is pretty fun counting them and I like the colours too. Daddy is trying to get me to add up small numbers by getting two different coloured bead lines and making me count between. Counting them one by one is working well enough.
This week is going to be a very busy week because next week Daddy will abandon his family and head to SteemFest in Poland. It means that they are going to have to cook and cook and cook to make sure everything is prepared for the time he is away. It is a bit of a challenge because the freezer isn't very large but I am sure we will manage.
It is going to be interesting living the single parent life for so long with Mummy as we have never been away from each other for so long. Luckily, Mummi and Pappa don't live too far away if we need them or, if we run out of food. Still, it is likely going to be weird since lately I have been asking for Daddy even if he has just gone off for a nap.
Daddy is here now though so we are going to try and call Uncle @galenkp in Australia and then play until Mummy comes home from school work.
