I am pretty happy with my hair lately because as much as I love having a pony tail, two ponytails are better! Mummi did these ones and tied them up with ribbons that say "luck" on them. Am I lucky?
There are so many things that I am happy with in my life and lately I have been SOOOO full of energy it is crazy. I have been running and running, jumping and jumping and, falling and falling. Today I was bouncing around on the couch and dived straight off head first into the floor. I have a bit of a bruised chin. Oh well, it didn't slow be down for more than a minute or two.
Today was day 1 of 2 for Daddy / Daughter weekend and we spent most of it inside cleaning. It was awesome! We cleaned the whole apartment together and it was all sparkly. We then spent the next few hours making a mess again but, that just gives us a chance to clean up some more tomorrow. We also did some more writing practice in Mörkö but not for too long.
The worst thing that happened today didn't happen to me, it happened to Daddy. He was peeling sweet potatoes to boil and freeze for me and he slipped and sliced his finger. There was quite a lot of blood but he wouldn't show me until there was a bandaid on it, even though I asked. I have seen quite a lot of blood in my life and visited many nurses and doctors so figured, I might have been able to help. He was okay though and after a little bit of patching, finished peeling and cooking some of my foods for the next few days.
Tomorrow we are going to have a really busy day though because in the afternoon there is some partying to be had but, we likely have to get some presents beforehand for the little ones who will be there because you know, Christmas is coming and we can't rely on Santa to do it all for us.
Talking of Santa, when Mummy returned home from school work in the evening, we took Viski out for a walk and for 45 minutes I sang Christmas songs and said hello to everyone we passed. They were really friendly and all stopped to wish us a Merry Christmas and patted Viski because he is such a cutie dog. It is nice when people are friendly, maybe it is the time of year though as it isn't normal around this area.
Well, today was much more of a diary type of day than I expected but tomorrow I hope that there will be more action that cleaning the apartment. Actually, it really isn't so bad is it? Perhaps being social should be less about special things and more about sharing our normal lives.
