I don't know if you know the book Fox in Socks by Dr Seuss but, it is one of my top 5 favourites. It is a book of tongue twisters that Daddy reads to me and I love it. Foxes are one of my favourite animals. Well, I take after my mother, all animals are my favourites! And Dinosaurs of course.
Tonight, Santa gave me the best gift I think I have gotten ever in my life, my very own fox socks! They are hand-knitted and as much as I love them I feel a bit bad because Santa gave them to me instead of Mummi making me some as she normally makes all of my socks and gloves. I hope she doesn't feel bad that elves made them this time.
Look at them:
They even have tails!
Mummi Santa is really talented when it comes to knitting cool stuff. Isn't it a shame so few people can do much with their hands other than play an x-box these days? I am going to spend time learning how to do all kinds of things I hope. Mummi teaches me a lot of stuff now and the days I am there with them means I always have something I made to bring home for Mummy and Daddy, often multiple things. I am sure they will treasure them all and keep everything very safe in storage somewhere.
There were other cool things that happened tonight but before I drop off to sleep (it is well past my bedtime) I wanted to brag about my fox socks. They even have little on-slip thingies stitched into the sole so I can run around fearlessly. Well, I run around fearlessly regardless but you know, the parents won't have to worry that much about me sliding over.
Not that I would, I am as quick and nimble as a fox.
