Sidney Sheldon was born February 11th, 1917, in Chicago, IL, and died January 30th, 2007. Sidney Sheldon was an American best-selling suspense novelist best known for, Master of the Game, The Other Side of Midnight, The Doomsday Conspiracy, and several others. Sidney Sheldon was also a producer, and created such shows as, I Dream of Jeannie, Hart to Hart, and the Patty Duke show. He earned an Academy Award for writing the comedy The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer. His books have sold over 300 million copies, translated into 51 languages. His earnings from books sales and film ventures Variety Magazine estimated his net worth of $3 billion at the time of his death.
