I awoke from a dream
having been part of a flower
it was surreal
experiencing its power
First as a bud
experiencing the newness of life
carefully waiting to open
to live without strife
Next the opening
calling to the sun
opening wide and bright
beauty on the run
Next came the bees
taking nutrition from within
plenty to go around
never feeling thin
Now beginning to wither
my days have been spent
time to recharge
ready for the next event
Being absorbed now
deep into the ground
a new life growing
as the new cycle comes around
