We took our daughter for a walk to see some horses at an equestrian center but were surprised by a secret rose garden.
The horses were all decked out in various coverings to keep mosquitos and flies off their eyes.
Some chose to be in the shade.
While others grazed in the fields. After getting our horse fix we decided to walk around the rest of the farm area as we have never seen the full grounds.
This is where we discovered a new rose garden maze they just started.
Quite a few were in the budding process.
But others were fully bloomed and smelled great.
My daughter said they all smelled like chocolate lol. She associates anything sweet with chocolate for now.
The bumblebees were loving it.
Barely got one shot off before it flew off.
This was also a good test of my new phone's camera(s).
It seems to do pretty well as I upgraded from a Samsung S8 to an S22. My s8 is still running fine but I got a phone upgrade with a family plan. This one's camera does quite well with focusing and zooming compared to my older model. I just hope it isn't inserting ai enhancements tricking me into large than life photos lol.
