Here are a few more illustrator creations I made with a strange storyline for this #trippythursday by 
Giant space grubs have eaten everything in sight. Now they are sporting some huge fat rolls and can barely squirm around each other in the small space they live in.
Little do the space slugs know they are being farmed by much larger beings. Soon they will be harvested and thrown in a blender to be rendered down in an industrial ingredient for food products.
Once rendered into a pulp they will be sent through various filtering tubes to extract a form of emulsifier.
Space grubs tend to have lots of parasites in them so their rendered down sludge has to be sprayed with all sorts of chemicals. But every now and then a stray parasite manages to make it into the final food product. The food lobbyists have been able to bribe the oversight agencies to allow for a percentage of parasites to make it into the final product.
Here's one of the troublesome parasites. They aren't poisonous but their fluff tends to clog the machines...
When you try and unclog the machines they start forming into balls and spinning away quickly. Very troublesome indeed. If you accidentally eat one in the final product it makes the emulsifier texture fell and taste like a dust bunny.
Numerous flame throwers have to be pushed into the food tubing to flame thrower the parasites every so often. The smell of burnt dusty hair tends to feel the plant and some batches of final product taste like a hair perm smells.
All the work in harvesting the space grub emulsifier has resulted in a bumper crop of chocolate egg candies. We'll see how many of these hollow chocolates contain fluffy half scorched parasites... The company has shifted into damage control by turning it into a golden ticket contest. You get a free year's supply of space grub chocolate eggs if you find a parasite in one. They phrased it better than that but it did increase sales for the year.
Most of the space grub emulsifier goes into a bagel product that includes a donut hole. They don't taste like anything and are a cheap food used to feed various pets. Government agencies in Europe are trying to figure out ways to get humans to eat the space grub emulsifier by relabeling it under complex names.
