The Bible contains the Word of God. It is through the word of God that we understand what is the mind of God. The mind of God reveals the purpose of God for our lives. The fulfilment of this purpose of God should be our major drive in life. We must understand the purpose of God so that we can follow it. This inferably means that we have to hear what God is saying (or what He has said.) The Bible therefore becomes a daily necessity for our lives. We have to read and understand our Bible on daily basis.
The Holy Spirit teaches us what the Bible says. It is because it is the Holy Spirit who authored the Bible. The author alone can explain his opinion to the best understanding of its audience. The Holy Spirit is the one who can talk to us plainly according to the mind of God. Knowing the mind of God is highly essential. We must grasp the Word of God fully.
The word of God is our light. How will we walk through this rough world without carrying our source of light? We need the light to know which way to go. Therefore, it is impenitent that we study and understand the Bible.
Reading the Bible is the feasible way that we can receive the information that is written in it. Read the Bible everyday and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you.
