Schooling is believed to be the same with Education to many people but I'm delighted to inform as many as are ready to believe that Schooling and Education are different.
Schooling takes place within the four walls of a classroom while Education goes beyond the four walls of the classroom. Education is the facts, skills and ideas that have been learned, either formally or informally.
Those who attended primary, secondary and tertiary school has went through schooling because, it happens within the four walls of a classroom. It is usually a planned learning experiences which has a curriculum which guides its teaching within a specified period of time.
Education covers all spheres of life. Education encompasses schooling, lifestyle, reasoning, way of life, and so on. If you have the knowledge of a particular thing, you are a literate and educated about the concept as well.
There are people who schooled but are not educated, they are jokingly called educated illiterates by people, that is, they went to school, have their certificate but it didn't reflect in their way of life that they are learned.
