Canada Central Bank Not Developing Its Own Cryptocurrency
How can you tell if a Central Banker is lying? Their lips are moving.
Senior deputy governor Carolyn Wilkins has stated that the Central Bank is not creating its own cryptocurency. “Anyone looking forward to the central bank issuing a digital currency for public use like Bitcoin or Ether should be prepared to wait a long time, she said.” On the other hand she did say that the Bank of Canada said it was experimenting ‘CAD-Coin’ as a prototype for how large transactions between banks might be settled in the future. It would be naive to believe that our Central Bank will allow us to use a decentralized currency like Bitcoin without trying to compete with a centralized version of their own achieving the ultimate central banker wet dream of a centralized issued cashless society that is completely traceable. Of course we all know that Bitcoin is unstoppable and you would be nuts to swap it for whatever crypto-garbage Canada’s central bank dreams up but at least now you know the combatants. The majority of the heavily fluoridated rule following Canadians will comply and willingly swap one form of FIAT for a digital version and be none the wiser. Followers of this blog and Bitcoin owners will observe with glee.
