Hello everyone,
I GKHMY old AMD powered PC died last week, not sure whats the caused. A good friend Vincent has donated two old PCs, without HDD for me to try and revive them, and use them as a productivity PC, ie take notes, browse web etc.
My first task is to acquire some hdd or ssd, and an OS to install, Ubuntu may be an option, who knows...
I will try and document my steps in my Steem journal ;)
Both PCs are Dell computers... I'll try to attach photos as soon as I get a chance to work on them. I have 2x 500gb hdd I can try and get them installed first... and maybe salvage some hardware from the AMD system (perhaps the graphics card)

After installing the HDD into the PCs, they power up but does nothing.. no CPU post... it is rare that failure is the same for both units.. There may be something else I overlooked... the power cable? hmm... strange mystery...
