Every year the Ride4Fun (https://www.ride4fun.nl) takes place in autumn, this year on September 7th.
Ride4Fun has been preparing disabled and sick people for an unforgettable day for years, using them as co-drivers in sports cars, convertibles and vintage cars. A special day for special guests is the credo of the Ride 4Fun foundation.
I have been taking part in the Ride4Fun with my cars for years, I like the idea of making a nice day with my cars for handicapped and sick people. Last year I participated with the Mustang V8 and the Audi RS3, the Audi is certainly a sports car and something special in the Netherlands, but it just doesn't look "special". In short, it just looks too boring for this day and is not a convertible, sound alone is not enough ;) Therefore I will register my Mustang V6 for this one day this year.
The Ride4Fun is always very lovingly organized. Here are some impressions from 2016, unfortunately I didn't take many photos in 2017 and 2018.
The motorcade is accompanied by the police and fire brigade, all roads are closed as long as the motorcade passes by. The passing motorcycles on the photos provide for the closures of the side streets and crossings.
