A piece of my childhood returned, or rather was delivered to me in a blue package yesterday just as I returned from the medicine ward. I was contemplating whether to visit the nursery nearby to buy some plants for the garden (sort of!) I was trying to build in the balcony of our new house. I was not expecting the package so soon, and with nothing else on my agenda after a rather patient-less day, a trip to the nursery seemed where I was headed by all means.

Fate had different ideas. As I was looking for a rickshaw to ride to the nursery in the scorching sun, my phone rang. My package had already arrived. I requested the delivery man to give me 5 minutes and quickly rushed to the nearby ATM to withdraw some cash to pay for the package. As I said, wasn't expecting it so soon!

It would be an understatement to say the Harry Potter books were just a part of my childhood. I literally grew up along with the books. My siblings and a few of my school mates being "potterheads" made it all the more entwined with my teen years. Admit it, if you've read the books, you've all imagined a wand in your hand, you've all imagined flying that nimbus 2000 across the Hogwarts quidditch ground!

I had (still do) a full set of the books at my home. When I moved off to medical school, I eventually ended up getting another set for my dormitory room. It is probably just fitting I got myself another set now that I am more or less settled in a new place. Getting a set of Harry Potter books is equally important as getting my garden set up eh!

What set off this sudden urge to get yet another set of the Harry potter books was a series of videos from SuperCarlainBrothers channel on youtube. (They are the best Harry potter theory channel on youtube in my opinion).

The videos discussed the topic "What if Harry was in Slytherin" and goes in depth of the story of every books and how things would have been different compared to the canon timeline. It gave such an elaborate, in-depth look at our beloved (or hated) characters and how their lives would have played different that my synapses built years ago while reading the books for the first time began tingling uncontrollably.

To the point that all I was doing while I was at home was browse through pages online looking at the delicious looking sets of Harry Potter books. Do I dare buy yet another set? I was put out of the misery of the dilemma by my wife (who probably had had enough of me browsing covers of the books!), "You should buy it."

Within 5 minutes I had placed my order, and somehow within less than 24 hours, our headstand was much more decorated and enriched!
