I got full custody of my daughter a year ago. It was by far the best reward I got for getting clean and turning my life around. I had been taking care of her solely about a year before I was given legal custody but I wasn’t around from around 10 months until 3 1/2. Her mother moved and I was not in a position to fight because I was in active addiction and not on the birth certificate.
So since I have had her back she has not left my sight for more than a couple of days max with her grandmother. She’s off to the beach for 8 days. I’m super conflicted lol. I am happy to have a break, but I am also freaking out about her being so far away at a beach with my 60-year-old mother.
I wish I would have bought my mom a gun to protect them but knowing my mom someone might really lose their life then lol.
Anyway I’m excited and I know I’m protected by God so everything will be okay I’m sure. It’s just a primal thing I think. I swear I will chase down JAWS a Fillet him if he lays even fin on mi Monkiee!
