So I've shared some of my poetry but I haven't posted any of my raps, and that is because I am not comfortable with the skill level as well as the fact I haven't found my "rap voice" yet.
I am writing 16 bars everyday for a month. I did a similar experiment with freestyling, but I am excited about learning a writing new process and hopefully finding my voice.
Heres the video and the lyrics to the verse I made today.
P.S. I messed up the line about blaming myself but where I'm just recording this on my phone and I am using a free YouTube beat so I didn't have the time/motivation to redo everything for one bar.
I know I got 8 good bars off this one that I'll probably use in the future, but either way it was fun and I am excited to see how this goes.
That's another reason why I want to do this so I can record some good bars to use in other songs later on.
