Hello Steemian so not long ago I received the odd and slightly scary news that my nearest Zoo had caught fire this was of course shocking as it was only a month ago that I visited the location.
There was also a 2 hour window cap from the time the fire started and the time when I was there a month ago.

So on the day I was there I left the Zoo at 4.20 and Fire Brigade tackling the fire were called at the scene at 6.08
They tackled the fire at the Adventure cafe and shop near the Meerkat enclosure.
And would you believe there was a total of ten fire engines! with around 70 firefighters and officers at the scene tackling the fire!!
The photograph which was posted on Twitter by the Fire Brigade shows smoke billowing from the building as firefighters work on calming down the fire at the scene.
A spokeswoman from the Fire Brigade revealed approximately half of the adventure cafe and shop which also contains an animal petting area was alight in flames.
Obviously my first thought was are any of the animals hurt by the fire!?

But the spokeswoman from the Fire Brigade also revealed its not believed any animals are hurt at this stage.
She lastly added like everybody else as said that the cause of the fire is not currently known.
I hope they discover what caused the fire in the first place and my best wishes go out to those animals, staff, police and fire fighters.
