Good afternoon everyone…..
Our vacation journey begins at the San Diego Zoo. We have some great zoos by us, but neither of them have pandas. The only zoos in the United States are the Washington DC Zoo and the San Diego Zoo.
The San Diego zoo is a rather large zoo and extremely challenging to navigate. We ended up going in circles several times during our journey. Not a big deal, just a bunch more steps for the day.
The first stop at the panda exhibit was not good. The panda was asleep and facing the wrong way. So we did another loop and came back. This time was perfect….. she was sitting on a tree limb.
That was the most important part of the zoo expedition. Don’t get me wrong they had a bunch of cool animals and stuff, it’s just the pandas are special.
