In wide eyed horror, with compelled inquisitiveness, I read Helter-Skelter when I was thirteen, (along with Sybil and The Bell Jar). In petrified curiosity I read a book on Ted Bundy in my early twenties.
Growing up feeling like I had been raped and murdered in recent past lives, (I suspected this due to my chronic anxiety of it happening, coupled with a memory sense of having experienced it), I read whatever I could find on the subject in an attempt to gather some kind of consciousness around something so unthinkable.
If there's a God, how on earth could this type of thing be happening? And why.
Is evil necessary for life?
Is making a place for evil the definition of compassion and unconditional love?
Can evil evolve?
Does evil want to evolve?
Can Life and evil (that which seeks death) truly co-exist?
Answers to these questions have driven my hound sniffing education.
Surprisingly, I've found explanations I resonate with.

Consider, if one believes God created everything, and that Satan fell from God, there must be a reason, and/or explanation, for the existence of Satan.
After deep exploration I've found reasons that makes sense to me.
However, does understanding what I believe to be the how and why Satan was created necessarily mean we have to make a place for Satan within God's world? Does it mean humanity, seeking love, freedom, abundance and blissfulness must learn to co-exist with essence seeking "to defile all that is good in life"?
I think not.
Does that mean I'm a cynic?
That depends. Are we talking about those seeking love, life, and the experience of infinite creativity, or those seeking defilement, destruction and death?
There's a difference.
And one cannot, by nature, exist within the other. When this happens, as we can see, evil becomes "banal"..."the new norm", devouring all in it's path, while love becomes obliterated into the flatline of guilt, rather than power of Truth.
If essence wishes to grow; strives to be heartfelt; to live in a world of goodness, that's one thing.
If essence refuses to travel the path which brings about healing and love, that's another.
We all have the free will to choose. God or Satan. Life or death.
It's about intent.
We all have imbalances to heal requiring courage, tenacity, support, and the nurturing of self love.
Earth is the home to humanity who holds these values.
Satan has been attempting to overrun the earth, crush humanity, roboticize and enslave what's left.
Each of us has to ask ourselves: which do we want?
To resuscitate goodness, glory and godliness?
Or to allow evil to sneak in and corrupt it all.
Heart or heartlessness.
Which do you prefer?
The time is nigh.
