Almost 10 years ago I made these photos of a friend in a river near my house. It was a bit of a stressful experience, because when I'm photographing I don't like to have too many people around. And on this day, what happened was exactly the opposite.
I imagined there would be some people at the river, since it was a summer Sunday, so we woke up very early and went there before the sun got too strong and many bathers arrived.

But at 8am, when we were still doing the photos, many people already arrived at the site. Children running everywhere and many curious people gathered around us to observe the process.
I understand that the photos I was trying to take were a bit out of the ordinary and maybe that's why they caught people's attention so much, but feeling observed like that was really stressful.
In the end, I can't look at these photos and think how much I rushed many clicks in order to finish soon and be able to go home ahead of schedule.
But thinking about that situation today actually gives me a good laugh and a good story to tell.
