Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend and I wish you a beautiful start of the new week. _
Sitiing in front to my laptop, I can ear a lot of crickets that are singing in the garden close to mine. The Summer, here, has the sounds of crickets as the same way the sound of Springtime is the singing of the birds.
Even if I like so much to paint birds cause I love to watch them while they are flying around the plum tree in my backyard, this morning I decided to paint a funny, striped fish. _

As you can see, the subject is one of my usual funny fish with large eye. To draw the waves of the sea I used one of the rubber stamp I did by myself years ago.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and you can see the process thanks the pics I took while I was painting it:
I had so much fun to paint it and I think I'll paint some other similar ones soon, thinking about this (hot) Summer!
