An happy Wednesday to all hivers here! Hot day here, hottest than usual for this month here in my area, but the news say that soon the weather will come back to a normal temperature and this make me feel really happy. 馃榿
Today it was an ordinary day for me. As usual I woke up soon the morning to work with my brushes and color during the silent and quiet first hours. In the afternoon there was a lesson of the art class and while my hubby was teaching to his students I placed my easel between them and I started a new oil on canvas. Before that lesson, I made the canvas by myself. I have some large parts of an excellent vintage cotton fabric at home and when I need to have a large canvas I use them on a wooden frame made by myself. Some strokes of gesso primer and the canvas is ready to paint.
Fortunately inside my lab room I can work in a comfortable way and so I created the canvas there (sure, I took a couple of pics to share with you 鉂わ笍 ):
It was not a fast process, but at the end the canvas was ready just in time to start to paint it during the lesson and I could show it to the other students telling them how I made it.
Well, now I have to run because it's dinner time!
