“Batten Down The Hatches!”😳
“Silvertop, we are under a “High Wind” Warning!”😬
The rain, and wind pounded on the glass skylight, just next to the laundry room I am remodeling………..😉
I grabbed my “Boom Box” from the garage, and cranked up the volume on the only station I can pick up on stormy days…..JRFM Country out of Vancouver British Columbia, to drowned out the noise from the storm!☺️
“Liz, do you think the music is loud enough for our friend
I was “cutting in/painting” the ceiling corners………
Last trip to Walmart, I saw a gallon of “Glidden ceiling flat white paint”.
“Perfect, that’s exactly what we need for the ceiling!”😊
As I stated painting, I started questioning the color “white”!🤔
“Liz… it looks darker than the material I texture sprayed on the ceiling!”🤔
Silvertop knows that wet paint can change color quite a bit as it dries, so I continued to “Cut in”…………
By the time I finished painting, I looked back at where I started……… and the dry paint was considerably darker, with a light hint of blue/ gray!🙄
“Silvertop you are looking for egg shell flat paint, that will give it the “Warm” look, that you are looking for!”🥰
Hmmm……………..🤔
Anyone need almost a full gallon of paint Lol!☺️
Let the wind blow my friends………..
Liz is home, and I just lit a fire in the wood stove!
Silvertop is finished “playing” for today!
Tomorrow is another day, and another trip to the Home Depot paint department, for a gallon of warmer white paint Lol!😇
“Liz…. Did I tell you I LOVE remodeling!”😍
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
