My new Trezor Safe 7 arrived in a very discreet, brown box. Nothing was marked on the outside of the box that would alert you to the fact that Trezor’s flagship crypto wallet was inside!😊
I opened the package, and removed the “Security Seal”, and that’s when I received a notification on X/ Twitter!😮

“Summary
ShipMonk, one of Trezor's shipping providers, has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive customer order data, including full names, shipping addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Trezor devices are secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts. This data breach can potentially affect new customers who received an order from the following countries: US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal between 10th of May and 8th of August 2026.”
Our Trezor Safe 7 arrived the tenth of August…………..😅
Trezor stated that customers that had their information leaked, were being notified by email.
Liz checked…….. no email from Trezor!😅
Trezor stated that after 90 days, the information would have been automatically deleted, and reiterated that this in no way shape and form would this compromise the security of the hardware wallet they shipped!
Ledger had this happen a while back…….
Then Cold Card was hacked for $116 million dollars…….
Now Trezor……….🙄
Is Silvertop still a fan of Trezor….. Absolutely!👍
I continued setting up my Safe7😇
Bluetooth setup was easy, and within thirty minutes I was “Paired” and up and running “wirelessly”, sending a “test” Bitcoin transaction to my new “Pass Phrase” wallet!
It was also a breeze entering the “Pass Phrase” and my “Seed words” since I was recovering a wallet!☺️
Be careful guys if you go this route, if you loose your “Pass Phrase” NO ONE can retrieve your loss crypto!🙄
Trezor also automatically does an authentication test, before you boot up!😇
Of course I can still connect the Safe7 with a usb cable, and honestly I probably will most of the time!😊
Trezor……..You make an awesome product!🤗
If you are considering a hardware wallet, I highly recommend the Trezor line of wallets!👍
