I just knew that when the Mrs got home from work she was not hiking!
So I started up the Mountain.....
Today was also a good rainy day to test out my brand new Columbia Omni-Tex waterproof rain jacket, in a Northwest Washington storm!! 😅
This was a powerful storm dumping sheets of rain, and Columbia claims this unlined rain jacket will breathe and keep me 100% dry!🤔
Well....after climbing steep hills today,and heating up, I could feel the humidity rise inside this jacket. I only had one sweatshirt under this, and when I paused at the top of a hill for 5 minutes or so, I could tell it was breathing, and venting the moisture out!😊
So the final decision on the rain jacket is .... Yes it performs as they claim 100%! This was well worth $59.99 on EBay!!
Mrs Silvertop arrived home about 5 o’clock, and the rain and wind stopped........
“ I told Jan 5:50 PM” the Mrs stated.......
😳 Round two.....Well this hike wasn’t as long.......
When was the last time I had 160 uphill floors with over 22,000 
The Mrs just looked at me and said “You don’t need a hike!”
