Strange how you can live for years in a place and never get out to play tourist....
Today the Mrs needed to do a bulk mail drop for her work at a small post office up the road from where we live.
We are in the foothills, and the day was so nice I said let’s just drive up toward the mountain.
It’s about 25 miles to the top, and they close this down in the Fall.
This is the Mt. Baker National Forest!
The third photo is sometimes mistaken for the volcano, this is Mt Shuksan, taken from the top, the end of the road, at what is called Artist point.😊
One of our sons was ski patrol for several years, at the Mount Baker ski area, and always tried to get Mom and Dad to come up.....
Life....Work.....somehow we never did......
