STEEM - Has it had it's day? are are we just getting started?

So everyone, what is the score with STEEM? Is it are is it not a good medium/long term hold?

I have been on the steemit platform for almost 2 years and i have been working hard building up my wallet for a big payday. When i was first introduced to STEEM the price was around 80-90 cents and it sat at around 30th on the coinmarketcap charts. Since then i have watched STEEM go to just over $8 during the last bull run at the end of 2017 when BTC was almost $20,000 and then crash all the way back to 25 cents by the start of 2019. Today STEEM is sitting at around 5% of it's all time high price at 41 cents while other crypto are doing much better in comparison and i ponder to myself why? STEEM has alot of front end platforms and working dapps. Transactions within STEEM are pretty much instant and free, it works very well and has a proper use. The only bad thing i see with STEEM is the 13 week power down required when you power your STEEM up. I understand this helps to keep the price of the coin more stable but we still with -/+ 10% daily swings from time to time so does it really help to keep the price stable. Why is has it slipped to 65th on the marketcap raking below pump and dump cryptos and what will the future bring for STEEM.

The way i see it in my simple mind, 1 of 2 things are gonna happen. STEEM is gonna fade away and drop out of the top 100 rankings are it is gonna moon and make us all millionaires. That's be honest here, everybody has heard of BTC, ETH, LTC ect but STEEM is fairly unknown in the crypto world. My hope is that STEEM has been overlooked and during the next bull run, it'll moon and go to over $5 again. I feel like i could keep writing about this but the more i type the more easy it is for you guys to see that i dont really have a clue what im talking about.

1 - STEEM will fade away, it'll drop out the top 100 ranked coins and we will never see $1+ STEEM again
2 - STEEM will always have a strong community backing and ride the next bull run to hit maybe $2-3
3 - STEEM is overlooked and when people/investors see that it's utility has proper valu, it'll moon and we'll see $5-10 are high STEEM prices in a few years
