Although we are still in the pandemic, some restaurants in California have dining for special-reserved seating. This is one such restaurant!
After watching the movie Cruella, we proceeded to OZ, a Korean Barbecue restaurant.
In this restaurant, the food is brought to your table raw (with the exception of the steamed egg), and you grill it yourself. The tables have round Meat Fire Plates. You order from the AYCE MENU, which you download on your phone.
I was able to take pictures of half the food we ordered. I was distracted by the great company and good food. A perfect combination!
GYERAN JIM- Steamed egg served in a hot pot, Kimchi, Broccoli, Bean Sprouts, Pickled Radish, Jalapeno Cabbage, Jabchae- clear noodles, and Rice Paper.
BUL-GO-GI- Shredded ribeye, Mushrooms, pineapple, bell peppers, zuchinni, sliced onions.
GARLIC SHRIMP- Headless whole shrimp in a sesame garlic sauce.
OZ GALBI- Boneless short ribs in a traditional sauce.
SESAME BEEF- Beef in a sesame garlic sauce.
SAM-GYUP-SAL- Non-Marinated sliced pork belly.
CHILI PORK - Pork loin filet in a spicy sauce.
DAEPAE SAM-GYUP-SAL - Royal cut thinly Sliced Pork Belly and
SOY GARLIC SAM-GYUP-SAL- Sliced pork belly in a garlic marinade.
We ate (and ate) until we are satisfied. There was 12 of us and our total bill was $275.00 excluding tips. Not bad. I was stuffed!
I used Pinmapple to pin this post to the world map using a code generated at Pinmapple to mark the place where I traveled and took these photos.
It is so cool! You should try it!
