There aren’t too many comedy club in New Jersey, basically because New York City is so close and there are tons of big name comedy clubs in the city.
Most of the comedy clubs in New Jersey are small and don’t have the room to handle bigger named or people you’ve heard of perform.
There is a place in New Brunswick called “The Stress Factory”. I had never been there before, but I found out about them on this comics site. So I bought two tickets for last nights 9:30 show.
New Brunswick is a college town, most of the town is occupied by Rutgers University and big companies like Colgate/Palmolive.
Luckily the show was inside, because it was still 90 degrees out when we got there at 8:00.
The show was for a comedian Josh Wolf. He’s been around a while and is fairly big as a comedian. He does post a lot of content on YouTube if you are interested. I think he’s pretty funny.
The show was great, we had a blast. He did nearly 90 minutes of stand up. By the time we got out it was midnight. His opening act was pretty good as well.
