Afternoon everyone…..

I got a call early this morning from my buddy Jeff. His wife Colleen passed away after over a decade of various cancers. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. They took care of that and she was in remission for over two years. Then she was diagnosed with cervical cancer and they did a full hysterectomy on her. She went through a bout of chemo, which was really tough on her both physically and mentally. Once again she was in remission for roughly two years going for regular check ups.

Then while they were traveling to California for their son’s college graduation ceremony. Colleen started feeling drained with no energy. When they flew back home she went to her doctor and they found cancer in her colon and in her brain.

And had been battling both for several years. Roughly a month ago the doctors told her that the treatments weren’t working and the cancer was spreading and rapidly.

When I spoke to Jeff last Thursday, Colleen was being put into hospice. If you don’t know what that is, it’s basically just managing the pain of the patient until the inevitable happens.

And that inevitably happened this morning…..😪💔

Colleen was a wonderful caring person, they were married for just over 27 years and have a son and a daughter. Both are adults, but unfortunately the daughter is scheduled to get married next spring. That will be difficult I’m sure.

She was loved by many and that’s how I’d like to remember her.

Poured silver….

Most people assume that there is some kind of mold for these pours. That is true for maybe twenty to thirty percent of my stuff. The rest are done with impressions in delft clay. Which is a very tedious.

These pieces are from Ray Brockman a long time OG of the silvergoldstacker community. He started pouring silver under the name Toxic Bullion. I have many pieces from him as well. I have probably shown off a few before.

Here are the pieces…
