That not to long ago about this time we were all glued to the tv, watching a great tragedy that had just occurred.
I’m not going to go into details I’m quite sure you all know the history of what happened.
See it’s a little different for me. I not only live 15 miles away from where the tragedy occurred, but I lost a very close friend that day and three high school classmates as well. One of my cousins was work directly across the street from the first tower on the 36 floor that day. He witnessed the entire horrific display front and center.
He is very fortunate to still be alive today. But has to live with the nightmares of what he witnessed daily.
I was trying to find my Wall Street Mint ten ounce bar to show today. Unfortunately it’s in private storage and i don’t have time to get there. It has a beautiful NYC skyline with the twin towers included.
So instead I will show off a 1986 Statue of Liberty Commemorative Coin from the US Mint to display the freedoms that we have. It’s also because the Statue of Liberty was a witness to the tragedy and will always look upon it’s remains.
